§ 50.31 CONSUMER'S APPLICATION FOR TEST; FEE.
   (A)   Whenever any consumer of gas furnished by a gas company, furnishing gas in the city, shall make a request for the Sealer of Weights and Measures to test any meter furnished and installed by the gas company on the premises of the consumer for the purpose of ascertaining whether the meter registers accurately and correctly and pays the fee as hereinafter fixed, the Sealer of Weights and Measures shall make a test of the gas meter.
   (B)   Any person desiring the inspection of any gas meter within the city as provided for in this subchapter shall accompany the application for the inspection with a fee of $1. The fee receipt shall be filed by the applicant with the City Controller and the City Controller shall issue an order to the Sealer of Weights and Measures to make an inspection of the meter described. This order shall be the Sealer’s authority for making the inspection.
