§ 156.24 SUBSOIL DRAINAGE.
   (A)   Discharge by gravity. Subsoil drains shall discharge into a sump not less than 18 inches in diameter, from which a connection shall be made to the building drain, building sewer or storm sewer. This connection shall be properly trapped and a check valve installed to prevent back flow of sewage.
   (B)   Discharge mechanically. Where the contents of a subsoil drain are discharged by mechanical devices, the contents shall drain into a sand interceptor or sump, from which it shall be bypassed into the sump pump, and then lifted and discharged into the building drain, building sewer or storm sewer.
