§ 156.12 BOND.
   (A)   (1)   No plumbing permit shall be issued to any applicant for registration to do a job of plumbing or plumbing work until the applicant shall have filed with the City Controller an indemnifying bond to be approved by the City Controller, payable to the city and all parties affected, in the penal sum of $5,000 with good and sufficient surety.
      (2)   This bond shall be conditioned on the fact that the permittee will not violate any of the provisions of this code or other ordinances relative to plumbing or the Administrative Building Council Plumbing Rules and Regulations, Administrative Rules and Regulations (20-421) M.
      (3)   The bond shall be further conditioned to reimburse any person from whom the licensee may do plumbing work whereby the person may be damaged by virtue of any improper work or neglect of the applicant in violating any of the terms of this code or other ordinances of the city relative to plumbing or the Administrative Building Council Plumbing Rules and Regulations, Administrative Rules and Regulations (20-421) M.
   (B)   The bond shall expire on the same date as the registration and shall be renewed each year when application for a new registration is made.
