(A) The application for renewal of a license under this subchapter shall be approved and certified by the Building Contractors’ Board of Examiners before a renewal license is granted and issued.
(B) The Building Contractors’ Board of Examiners shall, upon receipt of the application for renewal, the annual renewal fee and proof of required insurance and bond, as provided in § 150.016, issue an automatic renewal license to those contractors who have no disciplinary or adverse action pending before the Board and who request, in writing, their intentions of renewing their license for the ensuing year.
