§ 94.26 RESPONSIBILITY FOR REMOVAL OF DIRT, RUBBISH, ICE AND SNOW FROM SIDEWALK.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of the owner, tenant or occupant of property adjacent to any sidewalk within the town to remove snow and ice on the sidewalk within six hours after daylight and after the snow has ceased.
   (B)   The owners or persons controlling premises in any business area of the town shall avoid littering the public way with paper, dirt or refuse and shall sweep the sidewalks in front of their premises down to the curb, gather up all loose paper and refuse; and may sweep the balance into the gutter at least once every 24 hours except when the business is closed. Persons in residential areas shall sweep or rinse off the sidewalks abutting their premises at least once each month, or as often as may be required to keep the walk and street reasonably free from dirt, paper and refuse.
