§ 131.16 WHERE MINIBIKES, SKATEBOARDS, AND THE LIKE PROHIBITED.
   (A)   Mini-bikes and the like on sidewalks and private property prohibited.
      (1)   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any mini-bike, motor scooter, motor bike, motorcycle, or motorized bicycle on any sidewalk in the city or on private property without the permission of the owner.
      (2)   For purposes of this chapter, MINI-BIKE, MOTOR SCOOTER, MOTOR BIKE, MOTORCYCLE, and MOTORIZED BICYCLE shall include any motorized vehicle capable of carrying or transporting one or more persons, equipped with either two or three wheels and a motor.

   (B)   Skateboards and the like on sidewalks.
      (1)   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any wheeled device propelled solely by human power upon the sidewalks of the city between 9th Street and 12th Streets on Broadway Street. For the purposes of this chapter, wheel devices shall include, but not be limited to, bicycles, scooters, roller blades, and skateboards.
      (2)   This chapter shall not apply to devices used by the handicapped nor to devices used in the furtherance of a commercial enterprise.
      (3)   This chapter shall be considered subject to Ordinance No. 3 (Series 1987-1988).
