§ 131.15 POLLUTION; LITTERING
   (A)    Discarding of glass. No person shall throw, cast, lay, or place upon the streets, sidewalks, or other public places within the city any glass bottle, window glass, or any other article made of or containing glass; in case of the accidental breaking of any glass upon any such street, sidewalk, or public place, the owner or person in charge of such glass or the person responsible for such breakage shall, at once, remove the same from such street, sidewalk, or public place.

   (B)   Pollution of Mississippi River. No person shall throw or deposit, in any manner whatsoever, in or upon the waters of Lake Keokuk or that portion of the Mississippi River lying within the territorial jurisdiction of said city north of the Keokuk and City Water Power Dam any paper, pasteboard, clay, mud, mortar, plaster, iron, tin, glass, wire, or any kind of garbage or refuse, whether animal or vegetable, or ill-smelling liquid or any kind of dirt, rubbish, or waste material, thing, or substance whatsoever.
