There are hereby created six classes of liquor licenses within the city, designated as follows:
(A) Class A. Local liquor license which shall authorize the holder thereof to sell alcoholic liquors at retail upon premises specified in said license, subject to all ordinances of the city. Sales may be for consumption on the premises or in the original sealed package or container for consumption off the premises. Such licenses shall allow the operation of a restaurant in conjunction therewith. Such licenses shall also allow the sale of food stuffs and other goods but only incidental solely to the sale of alcoholic liquors;
(B) Class B. Local liquor license which shall authorize any club, as now existing or hereafter defined by the statutes of the state, to sell alcoholic liquors at retail upon premises specified in said license but only for consumption upon said premises, subject to all ordinances of the city. Such licenses shall allow the operation of a restaurant, in conjunction therewith. Such licenses shall also allow the sale of food stuffs and other goods but only incidental to the sale of alcoholic liquors;
(C) Class C. Local liquor license which shall authorize the holder thereof to sell alcoholic liquors, beer, and wine at retail in the original sealed package or container only, on the premises specified in said license, and for consumption off such premises, subject to all ordinances of the city. Such licenses shall allow the sale of food stuffs and other goods of any kind;
(D) Class D. Local liquor license which shall authorize the holder thereof to sell only beer and wine at retail upon the premises specified in said license, subject to all ordinances of the city. Said service of beer and wine on said premises is to be served only in conjunction with meals served on said premises or the operation of a restaurant on said premises. Such licenses shall allow the sale of food stuffs and other goods but only incidental solely to the sale of alcoholic liquors;
(E) Class E. Local liquor licenses which shall authorize the holder thereof to sell only beer, wines, and coolers at retail in the original sealed package or container only, on the premises specified in said license, and for consumption off such premises, subject to all ordinances of the city. Such license shall not prohibit the sale of food stuffs and other goods; and
(F) Class SD. Class SD licenses (single-day licenses) shall authorize the retail sale of beer for a single day on the premises specified in said license, subject to all ordinances of the city, for consumption on the premises specified in the license, in accordance with the terms and conditions provided for in such license. Class SD licenses shall be granted only upon the approval of the Liquor Commissioner. The fee for such license shall be $50. Dancing is not prohibited on the premises specified in the license. The licensee is subject to all other requirements of this chapter, including closing times. If the premises is situated on the property of any other unit of government, the licensee is responsible for obtaining permission and meeting any requirements of that entity of government. No more than one such license shall be issued for any given day.
