§ 90.026 WHEN ANIMALS PROHIBITED IN PUBLIC.
   No person shall permit or allow any dog or other animal owned by him or her or under his or her maintenance and control to be present at any public event involving large numbers of people including, but not limited to, city homecoming days, public parades, and public ball games on public property when (in the discretion of the City Chief of Police) the presence of dogs or other animals at such an event constitutes a danger or threat to the safety of the public and the Chief of Police has caused signs to be posted at such event informing the public that dogs or other animals are not permitted. This section shall not apply to dogs or other animal trained to assist physically impaired individuals nor to certified police dogs.
