The driver of a vehicle emerging from an alley, driveway, or garage shall stop such vehicle immediately prior to driving onto a sidewalk or across a sidewalk line projected across such alley, sound the horn of said vehicle, and shall exercise unusual care in driving upon said sidewalk or across such line.
