No business license issued for the operation of an auto transportation service within the city may be transferred, leased or assigned without the express written approval and consent of the city council; provided, however, that licenses for individual vehicles may be transferred to a new or different vehicle upon application thereof to the city clerk. Applications for the transfer of business licenses shall be accompanied by a fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each such transfer requested. (Ord. 757 § 5, 2000; Ord. 456 § 7, 1982)
