All garages and dedicated storage structures shall be designated on the preliminary and final plats and on all deeds as part of the townhouse or cottage development. Detached garages and/or storage structures may be platted as limited common area or on separate sublots; provided, that the ownership of detached garages and/or storage structure is appurtenant to specific townhouse or cottage units on the plat and that the detached garage(s) and/or storage structure(s) may not be sold and/or owned separate from any dwelling unit(s) within the development.
