The purpose of this chapter is to establish policies, regulations, standards and guidelines necessary to ensure that the City of Hailey will continue to realize the benefits of its community forest. The provisions of this chapter are enacted to:
A. Plan maintenance of City trees with sound arboricultural practices and encourage tree diversity based on the forestry plan; and
B. Promote public education of proper tree care practices. (Ord. 1013 § 2, 2008)
