The purpose of this chapter is to ensure the arts are valued as an integral part of Hailey, to enhance the culture of the Hailey community by providing leadership, advocacy and support for the arts, to promote the historic, architectural, archaeological and cultural heritage, features and qualities of Hailey, and to promote the general welfare of the public of the city of Hailey through the identification, evaluation, designation and protection of those buildings, sites, areas, structures and objects, which reflect such significant heritage, features and qualities in the city of Hailey, the state or the nation.
