A. It is the duty of all officers of the police department and the chief of police to enforce all street traffic laws of the city and all of the state vehicle laws applicable to street traffic in the city.
B. Drivers within the city limits must at all times comply with any direction by voice or hand of any member of the police force, which is given power and authority to regulate and control traffic to the extent of clearing any street or part thereof of vehicles and diverting traffic therefrom; also as to the placing, stopping, starting, approaching or departing of any vehicle from any place; and the manner of taking up or setting down passengers, loading or unloading goods in any place.
