Houses and buildings incorrectly numbered or not numbered at all, shall have ninety (90) days from the effective date of the ordinance codified herein in which to post the correct address on the house or building occupied. Should any person, firm or corporation fail to post the correct number on their house or building within ninety (90) days following the effective date of the ordinance codified herein, the city may give fifteen (15) days' written notice of such violation of this chapter. If compliance has not been made within fifteen (15) days following mailing by the city, the city may place the number on the house or building and bill the owner a reasonable charge.
