A. Developers who voluntarily install the wiring infrastructure for electric vehicles and solar PV energy systems shall be provided a rebate amount of:
1. One thousand two hundred and fifty dollars ($1,250) for new developments of single-family homes, townhomes, substantial remodels, and ADUs associated with new construction.
2. One thousand two hundred and fifty dollars ($1,250) per ten thousand (10,000) square feet for new mixed-use, commercial, industrial, and institutional developments.
3. One thousand two hundred and fifty dollars ($1,250) per twenty (20) units for new multi-family developments.
B. The rebate is subject to city inspection of installations, either via field inspection or photo documentation. (Ord. 1300, 5-9-2022)
