Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to a fine in an amount not to exceed three hundred dollars ($300.00), imprisonment in the county jail for a period not exceeding thirty (30) days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
