A. Operation: It is in the best interest of the public health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the city that the operation of automobile wrecking yards be prohibited and controlled within the city limits. (1996 Code § 7-2-1)
B. Establishment Or Commencement: From and after the effective date hereof, it shall be unlawful to establish or commence the operation of an automobile wrecking yard within the city limits. (1996 Code § 7-2-3)
C. Expansion: From and after the effective date hereof, it shall be unlawful for any existing automobile wrecking yard to expand or enlarge its area of operation. (1996 Code § 7-2-4)
