§ 20-604 PENALTIES.

   (A)   Any person who violates any federal, state, county, local law, regulation or ordinance governing the rules of the road, traffic and operation of motor vehicles shall be punished according to the provisions of the federal, state, county, local law, regulation or ordinance.

   (B)   Any person who fails to have a valid permit and/or fails to have it prominently displayed on the golf cart and/or utility vehicle upon conviction shall be punished as follows, in addition to any court costs and statutory penalties:

      (1)   First offense - Fine of $150.

      (2)   Second offense - Fine of $250.

      (3)   Third and subsequent offenses - Fine of $500.

   (C)   Any person who violates any provision of §§ 20-601 to 20-605 that is not already covered by divisions (A) and (B) above shall upon conviction be punished with a fine of $150, in addition to any court costs and statutory penalties.
