(A) The owner or agent of each habitable building situated upon any lot in the city shall cause to be placed upon the building the number thereof. Each number shall be of neat design and the figures used shall not be less than two and one-half inches in height.
(B) Owners of property hereafter erecting buildings shall, within ten days after the erection of the building cause to be placed thereon the number of the building.
