§ 8-1 ADOPTION.
   International Fire Code 2018 Edition Adopted.
   (A)   A certain document, one copy of which is on file in the Planning Department, being marked and designated as the International Fire Code, 2018 Edition, including appendix chapters C, D, and E, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the fire code of the city, regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of buildings and premises as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of the fire code on file in the office of the Planning Department are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed herein.
   (B)   The following sections of the International Fire Code, 2018 Edition, are hereby revised:
      (1)   Section 101.1. Insert: City of Guthrie
      (2)   Section 101.1.4, insert “Fees for permits and other services shall be set by Council via resolution.”
      (3)   Section 102.1 insert “(5) Existing structures that have been unoccupied or condemned for more than 90 days”
      (4)   Section 110.4 insert “misdemeanor; $200 plus court costs; 10 days.”
      (5)   Section 112.4 insert “$100 plus court costs; $200 plus court costs.”
      (6)   To ensure compatibility with the present key box system and related devices, the manufacturer of such devices shall be the Knox Company and will be required on all commercial buildings with fire alarms or fire suppression systems and other occupancies as determined by the Fire Code official.
