§ 90.25 KENNEL PERMIT; FEE; VIOLATION; CLASSIFICATION.
   (A)   A person operating a kennel shall obtain a permit issued by the board of supervisors of the county where the kennel is located except if each individual dog is licensed.
   (B)   The annual fee for the kennel permit is $350 as determined by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors.
   (C)   A dog remaining within the kennel is not required to be licensed individually under A.R.S. § 11-1009. A dog leaving the controlled kennel conditions shall be licensed under A.R.S. § 11-1009, except if the dog is only being transported to another kennel which has a permit issued under this section.
   (D)   A person who knowingly fails within 30 days after written notification from the county enforcement agent to obtain a kennel permit is guilty of a Class 2 Misdemeanor.
