The Council shall hold regular meetings on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m.; provided that when the day fixed for any regular meeting of the Council falls upon a day designated by law as a legal holiday, such meeting shall be held at the same hour on the next succeeding day not a holiday, unless otherwise noticed by the town. When deemed appropriate, any regular meeting date of the Council may be changed or cancelled by the Mayor or by a majority of the Council except that at least one regular meeting a month must be held and that such notice of the cancelled or rescheduled meeting shall be given to the public as is reasonable and practicable under the circumstances. All regular meetings of the Council shall be held in the Council chambers of the town, unless otherwise noticed by the town.
