§ 90.01 PIGS NOT TO BE KEPT IN BOROUGH.
   (A)   No person, firm or corporation shall keep any pig or hog at any place within the borough, nor shall any person, firm or corporation maintain any pig pen or hog pen at any place within the said borough, under penalty.
   (B)   Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions, an exception for Vietnamese potbellied pigs is hereby established so that residents of the borough may own and keep said Vietnamese potbellied pigs at their residences provided the following provisions are met.
      (1)   The pig must be a registered Vietnamese potbellied pig.
      (2)   There is a limit of one Vietnamese potbellied pig per household.
      (3)   The Vietnamese potbellied pig must be spayed, neutered, given all shots as required by a veterinarian and cannot pose a public health threat whatsoever.
      (4)   The Vietnamese potbellied pig cannot weigh more than 100 pounds.
      (5)   The Vietnamese potbellied pig shall be subject to all leash controls which govern dogs under state and local law.
