§ 72.06 PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON TRACTOR-TRAILERS/TRAILERS.
   (A)   Subject to the exceptions set forth within division (D) below, within the streets, alleys, rights-of-way, paved or unpaved, of the borough, no tractor-trailers, as a combination vehicle, shall park except for the temporary requirement of loading and unloading, which period of time shall not exceed two hours unless a special permit is obtained from the Borough Manager, issued after it has been determined additional time is needed for such loading or unloading. A tractor-trailer is defined herein as a combination vehicle which has three or more axles or a combination vehicle which is more than 20 feet in length or a combination vehicle which weighs more than 18,000 pounds.
   (B)   Subject to the exceptions set forth within division (D) below, within the streets, alleys, rights-of-way, paved or unpaved, of the borough, no trailer shall be parked that is 15 feet in length or longer, except for the temporary requirement of loading and unloading, which period of time shall not exceed two hours unless a special permit is obtained from the Borough Manager, issued after it has been determined additional time is needed for such loading or unloading.
   (C)   Subject to the exceptions set forth within division (D) below, within the streets, alleys, rights-of-way, paved or unpaved, of the borough, no tractor shall be parked except for the temporary requirement of hooking up to a trailer or disconnection from a trailer, which period of time shall not exceed two hours unless a special permit is obtained from the Borough Manager, issued after it has been determined additional time is needed for such hooking or unhooking from said trailer. A tractor is defined as a vehicle with a driver’s cab and no body designed to haul or pull one or more large vans or trailers.
   (D)   Tractors, trailers and tractor-trailers may park at a work site where their presence is directly related to the work being performed thereat or they may park at a manufacturing plant where they are picking up or delivering materials either manufactured at the said site or materials which are being disposed from the said site; provided, further, that the parking shall not exceed 12 hours in any 24-hour period unless a special permit is obtained from the Borough Manger authorizing such parking.
