§ 54.036 CHARGES FOR WATER CONNECTION TAPS.
   The fee for a water distribution system connection tap shall be as follows:
   (A)   The estimated sum equal to all of the costs of the water tap construction including, but not limited to, labor, materials, equipment fees, state permit fees, excavation, asphalt restoration and/or contractor charges plus an administrative charge in the amount of 10%.
   (B)   The borough or its designee shall make all connections to water mains, unless otherwise approved by the borough. Upon approval of an application for water service and upon payment of a water capacity tap fee as set forth in § 54.035, and the estimated water connection/distribution system tap fee set forth in division (A) above, the borough, its designee, authorized agent, or a designated contractor will tap the main, insert corporation cock, install a service line to the curb, or if no curb, to the property line, and install a curb stop with curb box; all of which facilities shall be and shall remain the property of the borough, and shall be maintained by the borough or its designee. Upon completion, the borough will calculate the actual cost of construction and invoice the property owner for any additional billing.
