(A) Before any water meter shall be located and installed in any structure within the borough, the location of such water meter within such structure shall be first determined or approved by the Water Superintendent or other duly appointed representative of the borough.
(B) The borough may require an outdoor meter installation in a meter box or vault. Meter boxes/vaults shall be installed and maintained by the borough, at the customer’s expense. The meter box/vault shall be placed immediately after the curb cock or curb stop and shall be of a type and size adequate to give access to the meter and permit its installation or removal.
