351.18   PARKING IN RESIDENTIAL AREA YARDS PROHIBITED.
   (a)   Definitions. As used in this section:
      (1)   “Residential yard” means the yard area not occupied by a structure or driveway.
      (2)   “Residential area” means that portion of the City zoned as a Residential District in Chapter 1135 of the Codified Ordinances, as may be amended from time to time.
      (3)   “Driveway” means the area approved by the Building Department for motor vehicle use and as described in Chapter 1105 and in Section 1137.11 of the Codified Ordinances.
   (b)   Parking Prohibited.
      (1)   Parking Prohibited. No person shall park, store, or leave unattended or allow to remain parked, stored or left unattended a vehicle, trailer, boat or camper, wholly or partly upon a residential yard, unless such unit is wholly within a driveway.
      (2)   Registered Owner Responsibility. The registered owner of a vehicle or unit found in violation of this section shall be held prima-facie responsible for any such violation.
   (c)   Exemption. The provisions of this section do not apply to authorized emergency or public safety vehicles while in use for emergency purposes.
