151.03 POWERS AND DUTIES OF DIVISION.

The Division of Police shall preserve the peace, protect persons and property and obey and enforce all ordinances of the City and all the criminal laws of the State and the United States. The members of the Division shall be maintained pursuant to the civil service system of the City.
