Empty corrugated boxes, cartons or containers shall be flattened before they are set out for removal. Flattened cardboard may be recycled by placing it in the resident’s recycling container, or large amounts of cardboard may be placed on the front corner of the resident’s property nearest the public street or alley for recyclable collection. The Sanitation Division shall not collect any box, carton or container that has not been flattened for recyclable collection.
