The City Engineer shall be responsible for the enforcement of this article. The City Engineer may enforce this article by withholding building permits or certificates of occupancy. He or she may provide for enforcement by instituting injunction, mandamus or other appropriate action or proceeding to prevent unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, conversion, moving, maintenance or use; to correct or abate the violation; or to prevent the use of the driveway, structure or land. A decision of the City Engineer may be appealed by the aggrieved party to the Planning and Zoning Commission in accordance with section 6-2-40.11.
