§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of this traffic code for which another penalty is not already otherwise provided by ordinance or by appropriate statutory penalty as generally set forth in 625 ILCS 5/16-101 et seq. shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than $75, nor more than $750.
   (B)   Every person convicted of a violation of the provisions of §§ 70.02 and 70.03 of this chapter and 73.09, 73.10 and Chapter 77 of this code of ordinances shall be punished by a fine of not less than $75, nor more than $750, except where persons pay the amount hereinafter designated for the offenses hereinafter designated within seven days of a ticket being issued, by placing the amount required in the ticket envelope and placing in boxes provided therefor in the city or at the municipal building the following sums:
      (1)   All violations of 625 ILCS 5/11-1303: $10; and
      (2)   All violations of 625 ILCS 5/11-1304: $10.
   (C)   Every person who is convicted of a violation of § 70.21 of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of at least $250 in addition to any other penalties which may be imposed.

   (D)   Every person who is convicted of a violation of § 70.22 of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of at least $250 in addition to any other penalty which may be imposed.

   (E)   Any person convicted of violating § 70.40 of this chapter is guilty of a petty offense and shall be subject to a mandatory fine of $150.
