§ 153.1207 INSTALLATION STANDARDS.
   If the canopy cover is accomplished by installation, the following factors shall be used to calculate tree canopy:
   (A)   A canopy credit of 400 square feet applies to large trees;
   (B)   A canopy credit of 200 square feet applies to small trees; and
   (C)   The formula for calculating tree planting for canopy coverage required by ordinance is as follows:
(A x B) ÷ C =D
where:
A = percentage of site requiring coverage, as set forth in § 153.1206(B) of this chapter;
B = calculation area, as set forth in § 153.1206(B) of this chapter;
C = total number of square feet of new canopy provided as stated in subsections (A) and (B) above; and
D = number of trees to be provided (by square feet of canopy).
   (D)   When using varying sizes of trees, the total square footage of new canopy provided must equal the required percentage of the site calculation area. Combinations of large and small trees may be utilized to achieve the required coverage.
