Upon authorization by an officer or employee of the Police Department, members of the Department are hereby authorized to provide police protection to any county, municipal corporation or township of the State, or to a governmental entity of an adjoining state, without a contract to provide such police protection, pursuant to Ohio R.C. 737.041.
