There is hereby established the position of Public Transportation Director. Such position shall be supervised under the authority of the Mayor of the City of Greenville, Ohio, and shall be responsible for performing the following tasks:
(a) Preparing, submitting and overseeing all grant applications for the user-side of Section 18 of the Federal Surface Transportation Act of 1978 for the City of Greenville, Ohio;
(b) Planning, accounting, budgeting, project management, property management, operating data coordination, purchasing and procurement in conjunction with the public/mass transit program to be administered by the City of Greenville, Ohio;
(c) Establishing guidelines for such public/mass transit program as required by the Urban Mass Transportation Administration as delegated to the Ohio Department of Transportation; and
(d) All other duties, responsibilities and functions related to the successful operation of the said public/mass transit program to be run by the City of Greenville, Ohio.
