(A) Prior to doing business within the town, an alarm system business shall register at the Utility Office on a form designated by the town for that purpose. The fee for registration shall be $50. On the form, the business shall set forth:
(1) The full name and address of the alarm system business;
(2) The full name, business address and home address of the manager;
(3) A telephone number at which the town’s Police Department or Volunteer Fire Department can notify personnel of the business of a need for assistance at any time; and
(4) The names, addresses and dates of birth of all alarm agents employed by the alarm system business.
(B) All alarm system business applicants shall present a certificate of insurance to the Clerk- Treasurer showing liability insurance in the amount of not less than $100/$300,000.
(C) An alarm system business doing business at the time this subchapter became effective shall have had 30 days to register as required.
(D) An alarm system business shall promptly notify the Clerk-Treasurer in writing of any change in the information contained in the registration form.
(E) The registration of an alarm system business shall be valid from the date of issuance unless the alarm system business’s registration is revoked pursuant to the conditions and procedure established in § 91.21 of this chapter.
(F) An alarm system business’s registration shall be personal to the holder and is not transferable.
