(A) It shall be unlawful for a person in control of property to operate, cause to be operated or permit the operation of an alarm system on said property unless a current permit has been obtained from the Town Marshal. Failure to secure a permit within 48 hours of installation will constitute a violation of this chapter.
(B) A person or legal entity having control of an alarm system at the time this chapter became effective shall have had 30 days to obtain a permit as set out herein.
