(A) No person shall discharge a firearm, BB gun, air rifle, air pistol or similar device within the corporate limits of the city.
(B) This section shall not apply:
(1) To a peace officer when acting in his or her capacity as a peace officer;
(2) To a person acting in defense of persons or property;
(3) Within the confines of a licensed shooting range; or
(4) When specifically authorized by the Chief of Police.
