(A) Full-time employees may be granted, after one year of service, a leave of absence without pay not to exceed 180 days. During such period, sick leave and vacation leave shall not accrue, and such employee shall not receive compensation for designated holidays. During such leave the employee’s health insurance and PERF benefits shall continue at the city’s expense.
(B) Authorization for such leave shall be subject to approval by the City Board of Works.
