§ 130.01 DISCHARGE OF WEAPONS RESTRICTED.
   It shall be unlawful to discharge any firearm or air gun, BB gun, or pellet gun projecting any lead or any missiles, or to discharge any bow and arrow or any other type of missile with a bow within the corporate limits of the city, provided that this section shall not be construed to prohibit any officer of the law from discharging a firearm in the performance of his duty, nor to prohibit any citizen from discharging a firearm when lawfully defending any person or property, nor to any regularly established shooting gallery, nor to persons discharging any air gun, BB gun, pellet gun, or bow and arrow or any missile with a bow on property of which they are legally seized, if provisions are made so that the projected missile or arrow, when fired, will not ricochet or travel beyond the bounds of the person's property.
