(A) This policy is designed to protect the interests of the citizens of the city by ensuring that only official city business is transacted in work areas during employees’ work time.
(B) Employees shall not solicit other employees or non-employees during work time.
(C) There shall be no solicitation or distribution at any time in city facilities. This section does not apply to city vendors and/or charity organizations who have received the approval of the Mayor.
(D) Employees violating this policy will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including discharge.
