§ 36.060 COMPENSATION.
   The City Council adopts an annual salary ordinance that establishes salaries for all city elected offices, appointed officers, and employees of the city. The city may use the FES job classification system to establish compensation rates and pay policies. Approved pay rates generally become effective at the beginning of the next budget year, unless otherwise indicated. All appropriate city documentation must be provided to the Clerk-Treasurer prior to an employee being compensated.
