A. Office Created: There is hereby created the office of local liquor control commissioner. The village president shall be the local liquor control commissioner and shall be vested with the duties and powers provided in the Illinois statutes and by this title.
B. Compensation: The local liquor control commissioner shall be paid such remuneration as the village board of trustees shall determine by resolution of the village board.
C. Assistants: The local liquor control commissioner shall be empowered to appoint with the advice and consent of the village board of trustees, such assistant local liquor control commissioners as may, in his opinion, be necessary to conduct the office and perform its duties. Such assistant local liquor control commissioners shall be clothed with and have all of the authority of the local liquor control commissioner while performing their duties. (Ord. 89-10, 7-26-1989)
