After the plat is approved, the Village Clerk shall submit the approved final plat to the Lake County Recorder for recording. The Village Clerk shall also record any other documents of conveyance, declaration, deeds, grants of easement of other documents submitted with the final plat and directed by the Village Board to be recorded. The Village Clerk shall, within five (5) working days after recording, notify the Plat Officer of the time of recordation and supply the Plat Officer with an exact copy on mylar or linen of the plat as recorded and a reproducible copy of the approved engineering plans and specifications which shall become the property of the Village. Recording of the approved final development plat authorizes the issuance of building permits, but does not constitute acceptance of proffered or required dedications. (Ord. 90-03, 7-25-90)
