9-1-6-1: DEDICATIONS:
Areas required to be dedicated are as follows:
   A.   New Streets: In all residential developments, all new streets created by subdivision and shown on plats submitted for approval and recording shall be dedicated outright to the public. No private streets or roads shall be permitted within residential developments. Private streets may be permitted under the conditions hereinafter set forth, by action of the Village Board, only within nonresidential developments and subdivisions when they only serve abutting properties, buildings, parking areas and loading areas within the development or subdivision. Such private streets shall connect with public streets, and shall not serve properties, or interconnect with other private streets, outside the development or subdivision. (Ord. 92-01, 1-29-92)
   B.   Additional Street Widths: Additional street widths shall be dedicated along existing thoroughfares where a width greater than that existing is called for by the major thoroughfare plan, or this Title.
   C.   Pedestrian Ways: Pedestrian ways, where required, shall be dedicated. (Ord. 90-03, 7-25-90)
