A. A permit shall be denied if plans or proposed work do not conform to requirements of this title, or other pertinent laws and ordinances. Denial with reasons shall be given, in writing, upon request.
B. If proposed work conforms to requirements of this title and other pertinent laws and ordinances, a permit shall be issued, in writing, to proceed with work, returning one set of plans and specifications, endorsed by the building commissioner, to be kept on the job at all times.
C. A permit placard is to be furnished with the permit or as the permit itself, which is to remain conspicuously posted on the premises during the course of work. (Ord. 60-09, 5-12-1960)
D. A permit lapses if a substantial start is not made in six (6) months, and expires after twelve (12) months unless extended. (Ord. 2001-O-13, 7-25-2001)
