7-2-5: PLUMBING CODE:
   A.   Code Adopted: Except as stated in subsections B and C of this section, the rules and regulations contained in the "Illinois State Plumbing Code", 2014 Edition, are hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this title as the rules and regulations governing the construction, installation, alteration, or repair of plumbing in the village. It shall be unlawful for any person to construct, install, alter or repair, or cause to be constructed, installed, altered, or repaired, any plumbing in the village in violation of or without complying with these rules and regulations.
   B.   Approved Materials: Approved materials for water distribution pipe in section 890, appendix A, 77 Illinois administrative code are limited to brass pipe, copper/copper alloy pipe, copper/copper alloy tubing, galvanized steel pipe, welded copper water tube and solder.
   C.   Water Service Pipe: Approved materials for water service pipe in section 890, appendix A, 77 Illinois administrative code are limited to brass pipe, cast iron (ductile iron) water pipe, copper/copper alloy pipe, copper/copper alloy tubing, galvanized steel pipe, welded copper water tube and solder.
   D.   Water Conservation Regulations: After the effective date hereof, only the following water efficient plumbing fixtures may be installed in any new construction or in any repair or replacement of fixtures or trim. The following maximum flow rates are based upon a pressure at the fixture of sixty (60) psi:
