7-1-10: MANMADE PONDS 1 :
   A.   Purpose: It is the purpose of this section to control the construction and use of manmade lakes, ponds and any and all other manmade bodies of water, except swimming pools, and to protect the health, welfare and safety of the residents of the village and to eliminate the creation of breeding areas for mosquitoes.
   B.   Applicability Of Regulations: These regulations shall apply to all lands within the corporate limits of the village.
   C.   Manmade Lakes, Ponds Prohibited, Exceptions: All manmade lakes, ponds, and all other manmade bodies of water, covering an area larger than fifty (50) square feet and having a depth in excess of one foot (1'), other than swimming pools, are prohibited within the village except as provided in title 9 of this code.
