1321.25 EGRESS.
   Every dwelling unit or guest room shall have direct access to the outside or to a public corridor. All buildings or portions thereof shall be provided with exits, exitways and appurtenances as required by the Building Code. All egress or rescue windows from sleeping rooms shall have a net clear opening of five and seven-tenths square feet. The minimum net clear opening height shall be twenty inches. Where windows are provided as a means of egress or rescue, they shall have a finished sill height of not more than forty-four inches above the floor.
